About The Position

We are currently seeking a high energy, motivated and passionate expert in RWD and the pharmaceutical industry to join the MMIT Commercial team. This role’s creation is in reaction to the demand for MMIT’s newest service offerings, Patient Access Analytics, and Physician Trigger programs. You will be joining an organization hard wired for innovation and specialization to meet the high demands of our pharmaceutical client base. You will join a high-performing team empowered to work creatively to develop solutions that enable patients to access therapies they need.

This role requires a combination of business acumen, analytical, technical, and commercial expertise to effectively manage and grow MMIT’s RWD offerings. Our RWD offerings include cutting-edge data solutions and expert advisory services alongside advanced technologies such as real-world data, machine learning and predictive analytics.

Essential Functions

  • Gain trust with client by displaying expertise in client’s field and therapy area, including ability to provide point of view on proper design and implementation of studies using MMIT/Norstella real world data solutions of claims, lab, and/or EHR. This role will be primarily focused on market access and commercialization efforts but could touch upon other areas of pharmaceutical life cycle management.

  • Prepare for all clients’ capabilities meetings by identifying product need triggers and use cases Display proficiency with a variety of large, integrated healthcare datasets.

  • Deliver presentations of solutions of offerings. Provide a point of view and tailored solution demonstration based on product lifecycle, therapeutic area, and other important considerations to the client scenario closely partnered with internal sales/account management. We view selling as a team sport at MMIT, so anyone in this role must thrive in a highly collaborative environment.

  • Advocate cross functionally (functions such as data science, medical science, delivery, client success, executive leadership) on solution design for optimal client experience with the intent of high-quality output leading to project extensions and/or new scopes of works within commercial analytics/strategy

  • In collaboration with sales and marketing teams, identify opportunities for business alignment by client type and use case & advise on pre-sales activities such as solution enablement, thought leadership, and go-to-market messaging

  • Lead authoring RFP/RFI responses, engaging other company resources to help as needed, and ensuring that the RFP/RFI is completed on time.

  • Develop expertise in the features, benefits, and applications of real-world evidence and adjacent research teams.

Desired Experience

  • 10+ years of experience industry experience (in a commercial facing role in pharma/biotech, business strategy, launch planning, or consulting for life sciences companies) or pharma/biotech data analytics or commercial operation roles supporting launch of complex pharmaceuticals

  • Strong understanding of market access strategies, payer and reimbursement dynamics, patient journey HCP (Health Care Providers) prescribing dynamics, and healthcare systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams and work collaboratively across departments.

  • History of successfully leading various customer relationships and scopes with excellence and grace under pressure, problem solver who enjoys working at a fast pace.

  • Experience of healthcare databases (e.g., claims, EHR, hospital, lab, payer, registry) and the pros/cons of various sources

  • Experience in working with MMIT data in a consulting or industry role is a plus

  • Entrepreneurial spirit, results-oriented individual who is highly motivated, decisive, flexible in thought, and has the creativity to excel

  • Must be able to travel 25% or more.

The OTE for this position ranges from $170,000 - $210,000. It is not typical to be offered at the top of the budget. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
