Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Administrator who will be supporting not just Salesforce, but also the integration of Salesforce with all other related systems. This team member will deliver on a variety of projects by gathering requirements from stakeholders, challenging assumptions where appropriate, and translating requirements into technical specifications and solutions.

The Senior Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the availability, configuration, and modification to the Salesforce ecosystem to support growing and evolving business needs.

This is an end user facing role, so the candidate must be both confident and highly capable communicating for numerous stakeholders on calls and video, building relationships and trust.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Interface with team members, business leaders and other stakeholders to gather, understand and translate requirements for various projects and initiatives

  • Design, build and implement scalable solutions using tools such as custom objects, applications, processes, and flows

  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards, and contribute to the analysis of the output

  • Manage all users, permissions and other security controls in Salesforce and related applications

  • Adhere to internal DevOps processes and controls ensuring the robustness of the salesforce test and release process.

  • Author and maintain system related documentation including solution requirements, workflows, use cases and updates

  • Prepare user training materials and conduct periodic training sessions when required

  • Provide input on business processes, always looking for opportunities to enable continuous improvement in all areas relating to data integrity, Salesforce and integrate applications

  • Evaluate, configure, and support ongoing maintenance of integrated applications

  • Plan and execute large-scale data improvement projects including data normalization, de-duping and general clean up within Salesforce and integrated applications

  • Maintain and drive understanding of current Salesforce capabilities and stay up to date on latest Salesforce releases

  • Ensure all support cases are worked within SLA’s

Key requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of professional Salesforce Administration experience

  • Salesforce Administrator certification

  • Strong technical and functional proficiency in Salesforce administration tasks including profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, roles, workflows, processes, flows, validation rules, approval processes, email alerts, advanced formulas, custom objects, reports, dashboards, page layouts, record types, Lightning pages and installed packages

  • Strong experience with designing and maintaining data structure and schema

  • Experience using DevOps software such as Gearset or Capado is ideal but not essential

  • Strong experience with data manipulation and maintenance with Excel, Data Loader and other tools

  • Experience with Apex, Visualforce & SOQL is a plus

  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Lightning (CPQ preferred)

  • Experience with Sales and Marketing related third-party applications (e.g. Data & Marketing Automation)

  • Experience analysing and documenting requirements, processes and/or policiesHaving an operational mindset with a desire to do operations

  • Experience training individuals, groups, and first-time Salesforce users

  • A focus on strategic improvements and the business impact of contributions beyond tactical needs and activities

  • Self-motivated, flexible, team player with solid multi-tasking, time management & organization expertise with the ability to manage multiple and changing priorities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with different levels within the organization as well as collaborate with cross-functional business partners and technical teams
